What Do You Think?

This photo inspired my novel, The Sleeping and the Dead. This was taken at Easter, 2007, and shows my youngest son at his grandmother's house.

It is one photo in a series that were shot using the automatic setting where the camera takes 10 photos in rapid series, over the course of just a couple of seconds. Thrre was another one right after this one.

There's clearly something in the image. That's the only clear thing about it. What's even more interesting is that no one knows who took the pictures. They were found on the camera after the event.

So here we have a photo, possibly of a ghost, taken by a ghostly photographer. What do you think?
